Community Initiative to Support Bronx Food Pantry

Share

The Woodlawn Collective has organized a one-time collection event to support the Albanian American Open Hand Association (AAOHA) Food Pantry in the Bronx. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14th, from 6pm to 7:30pm at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 439 E 238th St.

The community is asked to donate pantry items such as dried and canned goods, along with personal items like toiletries and sanitary products. This effort aims to replenish the pantry’s supplies, which have been critically low.

Additionally, the Woodlawn Collective, in partnership with Trinity Farm, will provide bi-weekly contributions of fresh produce to the pantry. This support is vital for AAOHA, which has been struggling to meet the increased demand for food assistance in the area.
