During the promotion, Ikonomi discussed the life and legacy of Fan Noli, who not only is a pivotal figure in Albania’s national history but also a Harvard alumnus, having earned his Bachelor’s degree there in 1912. The session included a Q&A segment, sparking debates and questions among the participants.

Ilir Ikonomi’s ‘Apostulli’ explores Fan Noli’s pivotal role in Albania’s independence and his efforts to unify Albanian emigrants in the U.S. through the establishment of an Albanian Orthodox church. This first volume in a trilogy draws from extensive archival research to present a detailed portrait of Noli’s complex character and his significant contributions to Albania’s national identity.

In addition to the book promotion, Ikonomi visited several historic sites in Boston related to the beginnings of the Albanian community in the city, which he mentions in his book. These sites underscore the long-standing connections between the Albanian community and the city of Boston.
