The summer season has started with problems for beach stations in Albania.
Coastal areas have welcomed the first influx of vacationers for this summer season.
On the other hand beach station managers are facing not only high prices but also labor shortages.
The staff that Gusti Hoxha, owner of a beach station in Spille, had employed a year ago has all left Albania.
Already recruiting for the new season has become increasingly difficult.
Very few businesses have managed to find staff, so most managers are forced to work long hours themselves.
There are 50 stations on Spille beach that have received permits for the use of the coastline, however the lack of manpower seems to accompany this summer season.
