Miku i pashoq i shqiptarëve, William Walker, është nderuar me çmimin “Doctor Honoris Causa” nga Universiteti i Pejës”.
Përmes një postimi në “Facebook”, Ministria e Arsimit, Shkencës dhe Teknologjisë, njofton se ambasadori amerikan, Walker, është nderuar me këtë titull, për humanizmin dhe guximin e veçantë njerëzor dhe profesional në ruajtjen dhe avancimin e të drejtave universale të njeriut drejt unifikimit të botës demokratike për vlerën jetike të njerëzimit.
“Universiteti “Haxhi Zeka” në Pejë ka nderuar me çmimin “Doctor Honoris Causa” ambasadorin amerikan, William Walker. Titulli i atribuohet motivacionit “Për humanizëm dhe guximin e veçantë njerëzor dhe profesional në ruajtjen dhe avancimin e të drejtave universale të njeriut drejt unifikimit të botës demokratike për vlerën jetike të njerëzimit”.
Në ceremoninë e nderimit, kryeministri i Republikës së Kosovës, Albin Kurti tha se, shqiptarët nuk do ta harrojnë asnjëherë atë çfarë ka bërë ambasadori Walker për Kosovën dhe historia e popullit tonë, tashmë e ka rezervuar një vend të veçantë të Kosovës për emrin e tij dhe për rolin e kontributin e punës së tij.
