Dua Lipa is giving millions of people around the world a new way to discover Prishtina.

The global superstar has shared a video on Instagram announcing that Kosovo’s capital is now available on Google Maps Street View, inviting fans to explore the city that holds a special place in her heart.

“Welcome to Prishtina! Today is the first day of Sunny Hill Festival and, to celebrate, all the restaurants, architecture and culture that I love can now be explored on Google Maps Street View,” Dua Lipa wrote alongside the video.

In the video, she encourages people to experience Prishtina beyond photos and postcards.

“You can never really know a place until you see it with your own eyes. My hometown, Prishtina, is now on Google Maps Street View,” she says.

Dua then takes viewers through some of her favorite places in the city. One of the first stops is Dukagjini Bookstore, which she says she visits every time she returns to Prishtina because she always finds a new Albanian-language book to read.

She also highlights several restaurants, cafés and bars that, in her words, capture the warmth, culture and unique energy of the Albanian capital.

The singer also shines a spotlight on Sunny Hill Festival, describing it as a dream that has become reality. She says the festival represents the spirit of Prishtina and brings together thousands of music fans and artists from around the world every year.

With the launch of Street View in Prishtina, people across the globe can now virtually walk through the city’s streets, landmarks and neighborhoods, while Dua Lipa’s personal guide offers a glimpse into the places that shaped her and continue to inspire her.
