Kosova boxer Donjeta Sadiku has secured a medal at the European Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Sadiku booked her place on the podium with a quarterfinal victory over Maud van der Toorn of the Netherlands in the women’s -60 kg category.

The win guarantees her at least a bronze medal, the second European medal of her career after her podium finish in 2022.

She now advances to the semifinals, where she will fight for a place in the final.
