Amir Rrahmani, Kosovo’s national team leader and Napoli star, has been officially named the best defender in Italy’s Serie A for the past season, according to a detailed report by the CIES Football Observatory.

Despite a challenging season for Napoli, Rrahmani stood out as the most consistent and effective defender in the league. He anchored the defense with strength and composure, even after the departure of key teammates like Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia.

The former Drenica player was not only the top-ranked defender in Serie A, but he also finished 4th overall across Europe. While Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk topped the continental list, Rrahmani reigned supreme in Italy.
