Share

With the decision of the Board of Directors of Rotary International dated 02 June 2022, the request of the Rotary Clubs from Albania and Kosovo to establish the Albanian-speaking District was approved, and the number of District 2485 in Rotary International was assigned.

Through a press release it is stated that this district will be represented by our elected officials in all leading structures at Rotary International and we will have our representative and voice in the highest Rotary structures.

Special thanks go to our Rotarian friends, PDG Radu Popescu, Special Representative of the President of Rotary International for Albania and Kosovo, Katerina Kotsali Papadimitriou, Director of Rotary International, Zone 21, Shekhar Mehta, President of Rotary International and the Board of Directors of Rotary International in Evanston, USA. Join Rotary to work harder. Join Rotary to serve even better. “We join Rotary to never be separated again,” the statement said.

The newest Rotary District Conference will be held in Pristina on 10-11 June 2022 and it aims to bring together Rotarians and community leaders to inspire greater engagement in Rotary, strengthen existing relationships and showcase the influence and extent of Rotary in the world.

The conference should appreciate the achievements of members, clubs and the District in order to give them a Rotary vision beyond the club level and offer an unforgettable friendship experience. We will celebrate a lot and we will celebrate together, it is our biggest holiday, which we have been waiting for and for which we have worked for a long time. “Congratulations to all who worked diligently and tirelessly on such a major issue for Rotary and the nation.”
