President Donald Trump has pledged to restore the damaged dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, blaming President Joe Biden for making “very stupid” decisions that have harmed the peace process.

In a post on Truth Social, while addressing the Israel-Iran conflict, President Trump unexpectedly mentioned Kosovo:

“Also, during my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were about to explode into WAR after decades of tension. I stopped it (Biden hurt the long-term prospects with very stupid decisions, but I will fix it again!).”

President Trump also highlighted his previous mediation efforts in global conflicts, including India-Pakistan and Egypt-Ethiopia, and hinted that peace between Israel and Iran could be achieved soon.

He often emphasizes that under his leadership, the U.S. secured major foreign policy successes — including the 2020 Washington Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which focused on economic normalization.
