A young talent from Prishtina is making waves across the Atlantic. Ten-year-old Triumf Lupçi has reached the finals of a prestigious piano competition in New York, placing his name among promising young international classical musicians.

Triumf has previously competed in Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Poland and Spain, but performing in the United States marks a major milestone in his artistic journey. While the final results from the New York competition are still pending, reaching the finals alone stands as an extraordinary achievement for someone his age.

He is currently a third-year piano student at the “Prenk Jakova” Music School in Prishtina and a member of Piano Balkan Academy, where he studies under Italian professor Giuseppe Devastato.

He has also been awarded a Prize and Diploma by the International Balkan Piano Academy “Sigismund Thalberg” after completing a high-level artistic and professional masterclass. With remarkable technique, strong discipline and refined musical sensitivity, Triumf Lupçi is proving that Albanian talent is stepping confidently onto the international stage — this time in the heart of New York.
