President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, decorated this Friday the world-famous Albanian artist, Rita Ora, with the title “Naim Frasheri”.

Singer Rita Ora was decorated with motivation: “In appreciation of the contribution made to the elevation of artistic and human values through art. With gratitude for her activity and role as an ambassador in matters of high national and global sensitivity”.

At the decoration ceremony, addressing the family members, friends, guests and diplomatic representatives present, President Begaj said:

“I am sure that this honor today carries the appreciation of every art lover in Albania, Kosovo and everywhere in the world. There are millions of people who think you are the clearest example of when talent and the human dimension combine together to create extraordinary values that inspire globally.

Let me express my appreciation for all your dedication to art and culture. At the same time, I find the opportunity to encourage you to bring to the world, but also to our nation, the example of how art establishes bridges of communication in all dimensions, unites people and heals hearts. Your gift, a wonderful voice, along with many other talents that you carry, have transformed you into a man who has captured the hearts of millions of art lovers.

With pride, we have all seen how your voice has not only enriched the world’s music fund, but is also a powerful voice in many social and cultural causes that help make the world a better place for everyone. Albania and Great Britain have a long history of cooperation. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of our relationship.

The week of British culture we celebrate shows that not only through culture, but also through business, economics and politics, our bond will be strong for many years to come. I wish that in the future you will challenge yourself by being driven by this strong artistic ambition and fulfilling your dreams, making the whole world dream.
