The Albanian American Organization of SW Florida invites you to participate in the “International Festival” taking place on March 25th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mercato. This festival is an excellent opportunity to experience a range of cultures and cuisines from over 20 countries, and Albania will be represented with traditional food, music, dance, and souvenirs. The best part? Admission is free! Let’s celebrate our rich culture and honor our dear homeland!
The event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to explore and appreciate different cultures. Visitors can expect to enjoy a diverse range of international cuisine and craft vendors, showcasing various foods, art, and souvenirs from around the world. In addition to the delicious food, the festival will be featuring an extensive lineup of performances from different cultural groups. Visitors can enjoy traditional dance performances such as Mariachi, Polynesian, Belly, Irish, Flamenco, and Salsa, as well as African drumming, and much more. The performances will take place on the event lawn, providing an excellent opportunity to experience the unique sounds and movements of different cultures.
Moreover, for those willing and able, the festival will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with the NCH Bloodmobile. The first 30 donors will receive a $10 gift card to a select Mercato restaurant. Donating blood is an easy and meaningful way to give back to the community and potentially save a life.
