Vanesa Limani, a proud Albanian-American, has just been named one of Staten Island’s “20 Under 40” leaders for 2025—an honor that recognizes rising stars making a real impact in the community.
Currently serving as the Staten Island Borough Director at the NYC Office of the Mayor, Vanesa plays a key role in addressing local challenges, building community partnerships, and ensuring that Staten Island’s needs are heard and addressed by city leadership.
Her journey in public service includes serving as Staten Island Director for NYS Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and Director of Constituent Services for former Assemblyman Michael Cusick. In every role, Vanesa has worked to ensure elected officials stay connected to the people they represent.
