Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Berlin on May 15. He said “more weapons and other aid have been sent to Ukraine.”
Kuleba is expected to brief NATO foreign ministers during a meeting in Berlin on the situation in Ukraine and how the military alliance could further assist his country, which has been battling Russian forces since Moscow launched its occupation on February 24.
“We agreed to work together to ensure that Ukrainian exports reach consumers in Africa and Asia. “I am grateful to Secretary Blinken and the United States for their leadership and unwavering support,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
US State Department spokeswoman Ned Price said Blinken and Kuleba had discussed the impact of the Russian occupation, including on world food security.
“The secretary provided details of the latest US security assistance aimed at boosting Ukraine’s defense,” Price said.
