A delegation from Albanians for America (AFA), consisting of Gino Mulliqi, Gëzim Rushiti, and Janinë Memeti, met with the U.S. Chargé d’affaires in Kosovo Anu Prattipati. During the meeting,  they reaffirmed the strong partnership between Kosovo and the United States and emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Discussions focused on opportunities to expand economic cooperation, increase U.S. investment in Kosovo, advance the energy sector—including liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects—and create new jobs through strategic investments.

The AFA representatives stressed that a Kosovo with strong institutions and a stable government is essential for strengthening investor confidence, advancing economic development, and further deepening the partnership with the United States.

In this context, the AFA delegation called for the resumption of the U.S.–Kosovo Strategic Dialogue as a mechanism that would enable deeper, long-term coordination in the areas of security, the economy, energy, investment, and institutional development.

The delegation also highlighted the indispensable role of the Albanian-American community in strengthening relations between Kosovo and the United States. It underscored the community’s longstanding contribution to building bridges of cooperation between the two countries and promoting new opportunities for economic development and investment.

The AFA delegation expressed its gratitude for the United States’ continued support for Kosovo and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to further strengthening Kosovo–U.S. relations and advancing shared interests.
