Don’t Miss the Albanian Picnic in Staten Island This May

Share

The Albanian-American community in New York is preparing for one of its biggest and most anticipated gatherings of the year — the 4th Annual Albanian Picnic, returning on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Wolfe’s Pond Park.

Set to run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the event is open to the public and is expected to attract thousands of Albanians and Albanian-Americans from across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and beyond.

Over the past few years, the Albanian Picnic has grown into far more than just a casual community event. It has become a celebration of Albanian identity, culture, and unity — bringing together families, friends, and organizations from all Albanian regions and backgrounds under one shared flag.

Attendees can expect a full day filled with traditional Albanian food, live music, dancing, sports activities, entertainment for children, and community gatherings designed for all ages. Organizers say the goal is not only to celebrate Albanian heritage, but also to preserve traditions and strengthen connections within the growing Albanian-American community.

The picnic is being organized in collaboration with multiple Albanian organizations and volunteers who continue working to create a welcoming cultural space for future generations.

With summer approaching and thousands expected to attend, organizers are encouraging the community not to miss what has quickly become one of the largest Albanian cultural gatherings in the tri-state area.
