Another Albanian School Opens in London

Share

A new Albanian-language educational institution has officially opened in London, further strengthening Albanian-language education and cultural preservation within the diaspora.

The Albanian school “Aleksandër Xhuvani” began its activities on January 31, offering structured Albanian-language instruction for young Albanians living and studying in the United Kingdom. The school focuses on teaching the Albanian language while also introducing students to Albanian culture, history, and traditions.

The launch of the school was supported by the Center for Publications for the Diaspora, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Albania and the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in London, which contributed by providing official Albanian-language textbooks for students.

According to the organizers, the school aims to meet the growing demand among Albanian families and youth in London who seek formal education in their mother tongue, either to maintain or improve their language skills.

In addition to in-person instruction, the school has announced the opening of an online class via the Zoom platform, expanding access to students who are unable to attend physically. Online classes will take place every Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM (UK time).

Those interested in enrolling or receiving further information, including access to the Zoom classes, can contact the school via WhatsApp at 07747490063.
