The European Union reopens its embassy in Kiev

Share

The EU has reopened its embassy in the Ukrainian capital after temporarily closing it to relocate it to Poland as a result of the Russian occupation of Ukraine.

The plans were initially confirmed by EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell.

Now, Matti Maasikas, head of the EU delegation to Ukraine, has posted the image of the EU flag waving again in Kiev.

Recall that Ukraine continues to be strongly defended by the Russian military, which began its occupation of the country on February 24 – causing many civilians to lose their lives from incessant attacks by the Russian military.
