On a historic night in Prishtina, Kosovo earned a crucial 2-0 victory over Sweden, taking an important step toward qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Elvis Rexhbecaj opened the scoring in the 26th minute, while Vedat Muriqi netted a spectacular goal in the 42nd minute to seal the win and spark celebrations at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium.

With this result, Kosovo climbs to second place in Group B and is closer than ever to making its dream of a historic World Cup appearance in the USA, Canada, and Mexico a reality.
