Kosova delivered a dramatic and crucial victory in Bratislava, defeating Slovakia 3-4 to book a place in the World Cup Play-off final.

The match started in the worst possible way for Kosova, as Martin Valjent scored early in the 6th minute to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. However, Kosova responded quickly, with Veldin Hoxha equalizing just 15 minutes later.

Right before halftime, Lukáš Haraslín restored Slovakia’s lead, making it 2-1 going into the break.

Kosova came out firing in the second half. In the 47th minute, Fisnik Asllani made it 2-2 after an assist from Mërgim Vojvoda.

Momentum stayed with Kosova, and in the 60th minute, Florent Muslija scored to put them ahead 2-3. The victory was sealed in the 72nd minute by Kreshnik Hajrizi, making it 2-4.

Slovakia managed to pull one back in stoppage time, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.

With this win, Kosova advances to the Play-off final, where they will face Turkey on Tuesday at “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium in Pristina, in a decisive clash for a place at the World Cup.
