Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama confirmed that NATO leaders have unanimously selected Tirana as the host city for the 2027 NATO Summit, marking a historic first for Albania.
This decision was announced during the 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague. PM Rama highlighted the honor and responsibility this honor brings to Albania, which will host the leaders of all 32 NATO member countries.
President Donald Trump, currently serving as the U.S. president, is among those expected to attend the summit in 2027. His attendance underscores Albania’s growing diplomatic significance on the international stage.
Preparations for the summit are expected to begin soon, focusing on infrastructure upgrades, security planning, event logistics, and coordination with hosting nations.
