President-elect Donald Trump has announced John Ratcliffe as the new Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a role that places him at the forefront of one of the world’s most influential intelligence agencies.
Ratcliffe, previously the Director of National Intelligence, is known for his commitment to transparency, having played a significant role in exposing what he views as key abuses within U.S. intelligence and judicial systems. Trump praised Ratcliffe, stating, “From uncovering the false Russian collusion narrative to addressing FBI abuses in FISA courts, Ratcliffe has always been a fighter for truth with the American public.”
