In a major diplomatic breakthrough, Syria has officially recognized the Republic of Kosovo.
President Vjosa Osmani announced the news from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the agreement was reached with the support of His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

“I thank President Al Sharaa for this historic decision and for his support of our people,” Osmani said. “This recognition is not only about our sovereignty — it is a recognition of the sacrifices of generations who fought to live in freedom.”

With this development, Kosovo is now recognized by 120 countries worldwide, marking one of the most important diplomatic milestones in recent years.
