The head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, David McAllister, together with a group of MEPs are visiting Tirana.

McAllister opened the beginning of the meetings with Prime Minister Rama, on Monday afternoon, while on Tuesday morning, together with the delegation, he met President Meta.

McAllister continued his meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka, the Minister of Interior, Bledi Cuci, the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, the Speaker of the Integration Council, Jorida Tabaku, as well as members of civil society .

At the center of discussions in these meetings are the findings of the European Parliament resolution on Albania, which was approved by 519 votes a few days ago. The issues identified by the resolution will be addressed personally and to the state leaders by McAllister.

The chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee concludes his visit to Tirana with a press conference at 13:00, at the premises of Europe House.
