The meeting of the leaders of Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia will be joined in the capacity of observers by the Prime Minister of Montenegro and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the sidelines of this meeting, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama met with that of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic.

Rama through a post on Facebook says that Abazovic today officially included Montenegro in the “Open Balkan” initiative.

“It is a pleasure to have a coffee on arrival in Ohrid, with the Prime Minister, Dritan Abazovic, who today officially introduces Montenegro to the Open Balkan, as well as with the US Ambassador to Serbia, Chris Hill, who is a longtime friend of Albania and Albanians, but also a staunch supporter of the Open Balkan” Rama wrote.

Abazovic also wrote about the same meeting on twitter.

On the sidelines of the “Open Balkan” initiative I had a pleasant conversation with the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama and the Ambassador of the United States to Serbia, Chris Hill. Our most important foreign policy partners are here. The Western Balkans has a place in the EU. “Montenegro as a leader in integration is ready to be a positive example in this process,” Abazovic wrote.

The signing of four cooperation agreements for the fight against tax evasion, recognition of higher education diplomas, cultural cooperation and cooperation in the field of tourism is expected on Wednesday.
