The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that Kosovo is committed to preventing violent extremism. She emphasized that cooperation between states is necessary for protection from violent extremist groups and terrorist organizations that pose a danger to the democratic world.

“We must stand together in facing and fighting common challenges. Cooperation and awareness are at the core of sustainable long-term solutions to systemic threats, which undermine the prosperity of our societies”, President Osmani emphasized.

“Determination and persistence are our way forward”, she emphasized.

President Osmani made these comments at a conference of the Global Fund for Community Engagement and Sustainability that was held in New York. She participated in this conference at the invitation of the President of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum, and the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis.
