Albanian wine wins 12 medals at the Belgrade Fair

Albania received 12 medals for Albanian wine at the Wine Fair that took place in Belgrade, within the framework of the Open Balkans Summit.

The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama on social networks. Through a post on his Facebook page, the Prime Minister states that an international jury with the standards and personalities of the judges of the most popular wine fairs, has awarded 12 medals to Albanian wines.

More specifically, 2 Gold Medals: Faba and Nurellari; 7 Silver Medals: Belba, Faba, Nurellari, Medaur, Duka and 3 Bronze Medals: Belba, Medaur, Duka.

The wine fair was opened on September 1 by Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovaceski.

About 400 wine producers from more than 22 different countries of the world participated in the fair.

The jokes between Prime Minister Rama and Serbian President Vucic received the attention of the media 1 day before the Open Balkan summit.
