Kosova and Albania are set to join the proposed International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza, according to a report published by Israeli outlet i24News.

The report states that five countries — Kosova, Albania, Indonesia, Morocco, and Kazakhstan — have committed to sending troops as part of a multinational force aimed at enforcing the ceasefire and overseeing the disarmament of Hamas. The mission is reportedly expected to become operational by May.

If confirmed, the participation of Kosova would mark a significant step in the country’s continued engagement in international security operations. Prime Minister Albin Kurti has previously expressed Kosova’s readiness to contribute to international stabilization efforts through the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), particularly in roles such as search-and-rescue and demining under an internationally recognized mandate.

Albania, a NATO member state, has a long-standing record of participation in international peacekeeping missions, including operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Balkans. Its reported inclusion in the Gaza force would align with its broader strategic commitment to international security cooperation.

According to i24News, the International Stabilization Force would operate through sector-based divisions across Gaza, with responsibilities focused on maintaining security and preventing renewed hostilities following the ceasefire.
