The project for the new port of Durres was presented during a meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama in his office with Dutch designers of this work.

Through a film made by a Dutch studio, the designers unveiled the vision for the new port of Durres, which according to Rama, is a magnificent work with an impact spread throughout the region.

The Albanian Prime Minister said that the goal was precisely the transformation of the old infrastructure into a model port as one of the pillars of Albania 2030 vision.

“That was exactly the goal, so from the beginning we saw that the current port was a mess, it was there, there was no capacity to expand, there was no connection, there was nothing. “While the new port has potential, has capacities and makes us the gateway to the entire Western Balkans”, said Rama, while assessing that “the extension of the dry port in Pristina is a masterpiece”.
