Thousands of Albanian Americans gathered in Manhattan on Saturday for the annual Albanian Parade, organized by Albanian Roots.
Participants from across the United States marched with Albanian, Kosovan and American flags while wearing traditional clothing representing different Albanian regions.
The parade featured cultural performances, folk music and traditional dances, bringing together members of the Albanian diaspora from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Presheva Valley and beyond.
The annual event has become one of the largest celebrations of Albanian heritage in the United States, highlighting the history, culture and growing presence of the Albanian-American community.
This year’s parade once again transformed the streets of Manhattan into a sea of red and black as families, community organizations and local businesses took part in the celebration
