The Kurti government allocated 70 thousand euros for the book “Reçaku” by William Walker

The Government of Kosovo in the meeting held on Wednesday approved the decision to allocate 70 thousand euros for the promotion of the book “Reçaku” by the former ambassador of the OSCE in Kosovo, William Walker.

The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, said that the book will describe the events related to the Reçak massacre presented from the perspective of Ambassador Walker.

“In front of you is a proposal for the allocation of 70,000 euros for the research, writing, editing, translation and printing of the book of memoirs of Ambassador William Walker about the massacre of January 15, 1999, in the village of Reçak and the historical importance of this event. The book will describe the events related to the Reçak massacre presented from the point of view of Ambassador Walker, told from his personal perspective as the head of the OSCE verification mission” Kurti emphasized.
