Today marks the 78th anniversary of the Liberation of Tirana. An important event for the Albanian-American community has been marked for this day. The Band of the Albanian Armed Forces performed together with the 63rd New Jersey National Guard Band.
This was announced by the American Embassy in Albania, through a post on Facebook.
“New Jersey and Albania’s partnership is growing even stronger. New Jersey National Guard’s 63rd Army Band performed with the Albanian Armed Forces Band today to mark the 78th Liberation Day of Tirana. New Jersey National Guard specialists are also working with Albanian counterparts on cyber defense, training, and military readiness” the announcement states.
