Dr. Gjeka Gjelaj, one of the long-time activists near this church, invited the Albanian-American Law Enforcement Association of Michigan to be present and for the participants to get to know these young Albanians who work tirelessly in the state of Michigan.
Since Dr. Gjelaj always has supported Law Enforcement and the eldest son is in the US Army, while the second is a police officer in the city of Ferndale, the association honored him with the first “token of appreciation” among the organization of the festival.
