Ardhmir Malziu has been named to the 2025 Bronx Power 100 list by City & State New York, coming in at #100. This recognition highlights his influential role as a Democratic District Leader in Assembly District 80, making him the only Albanian American elected official in New York City.

With a large Albanian-American population in the Bronx, Malziu has become a key figure in representing and empowering his community. In addition to his political role, he serves as the community coordinator for Bronx Community Board 8 and has previously worked with the New York City Council and the New York Yankees.

Malziu is especially committed to involving underrepresented communities in the democratic process. As district leader, he has worked to recruit more young people and minorities to serve as poll workers, aiming to boost civic engagement and representation.
