The Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Albanians (ITSHKSH) in Skopje, during the next week, September 20 – 26, 2022, organizes the manifestation “Albanian Cultural Week in the USA”, with a series of cultural and scientific activities and the promotion of exclusive publications.

Thus, on September 20, 2022 (Tuesday), at 7 PM there will be a visit and presentation of ITSHKSH activities at the DIBRA Patriotic Association in Staten Island, New York. On September 21, 2022 (Wednesday), at 7 PM, visit and presentation of the activities of ITSHKSH at the Albanian-American Cultural Center in Riverdale, New Jersey.

On September 22, 2022 (Thursday), at 7 PM, at the headquarters of the Pan-Albanian Federation VATRA, in the Bronx of New York, the works will be promoted: “Skopje, the very history of Kosovo” (S. Asani, M. Prishtina, A. Ramaj); “Conversations on – the agricultural history of Albania” (Eqrem bey Vlora); “New addresses of a memory” (Skender Asani) and “Proposals for spelling” I-II.

On September 23, 2022 (Friday), at 2 PM, at the Albanian Islamic Cultural Center in Staten Island, the new book: “Mosques and mosques in Skopje (documents, photographs and testimonies)” by Skender Asani and Nora Maliqi Zylali will be promoted.

On September 25, 2022 (Sunday), at 1 PM, in the Albanian Catholic Church “Our Lady of Shkodra” in New York, the promotion of the magazine “Drita e Gonxhes – I” and the works “From Gonxhe Bojaxhiu to Mother Teresa” will take place (S. Asani, N. Maliqi-Zylali, A. Ramaj), “Gonxhe Bojaxhiu – Mother Teresa: ‘I loved the other with the love of God'”, “Gonxhe Bojaxhiu-Mother Teresa: ‘I loved the other with the love of God”, “Letters from Gonxhe Bojaxhi – Mother Teresa” (Anton N. Berisha) and “Swiss newspaper reports about Mother Teresa” (Zef Noka).

On September 26, 2022 (Monday), at 10 AM, Seton Hall University will be visited – Department of Religions, with which ITSHKSH has started cooperation this year.

The ITSHKSH team consists of director Skender Asani, researchers Sefer Tahiri, Zeqirija Ibrahimi and Sevdail Demiri and the deputy director of the Migration Agency, Izmit Nura.

During these days, several cultural and scientific centers and diplomatic missions in New York will be visited. Personalities, organizations and different associations will be awarded with the symbol of peace and love of Skopje Gonxhe Bojaxhiu – Mother Teresa.
