Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to statements by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, which criticized him for the way he spoke.
Through a Twitter post, Rama wrote that he himself has a problem with the way Bulgaria resolves bilateral issues using the EU.
In this regard, the Albanian Prime Minister has asked Bulgaria to lift the veto or, as he says, “to endure his behavior”.
“The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has a problem with the way I speak. Right. I also have a problem with the way Bulgaria wants to resolve bilateral issues using the enlargement process as a means of abducting two NATO countries. Friends, lift the veto or be patient with me. And by the way, dear Bulgarian friends, let me remind you that it took a short phone call with Boyko Borissov to resolve amicably and sincerely the issue of the Bulgarian minority in Albania. “True friends do not harm each other, but really talk to each other and shake hands,” Rama wrote.
