Kurti: Serbia’s crimes in Kosovo can not be erased and forgotten

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed in a meeting the families of the victims of the Poklek Massacre, Teuta Elshani, Fadil Muqolli and Xhavit Muqolli and Professor Nusret Pllana, author of the book “Terror of Occupying Serbia on Albanians 1844 – 1999”.

The announcement of the Government states that in this meeting was discussed the importance of documenting crimes committed during the war and the important role that the Institute for crimes committed during the war will have in achieving this goal.

Kurti said that Serbia’s crimes in Kosovo can not be erased or forgotten, and that we need all of us, state organizations and institutions, civil society, independent researchers, and foreign experts, to engage in documenting and addressing them. .

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the families of the victims of the Paklek Massacre, Teuta Elshani, Fadil Muqolli and Xhavit Muqolli and Professor Nusret Pllana, author of the book “Terror of Occupying Serbia on Albanians 1844 – 1999”.

Last week we commemorated the 23rd anniversary of the Poklek and Old Chikatovo Massacres in which 77 unarmed Albanian civilians were killed and massacred. These massacres, like all other massacres in Kosovo, are undeniable evidence of war crimes, crimes against humanity and the genocide of the Serbian state against Albanians during the 1998/1999 war.

In this meeting, it was discussed the importance of documenting war crimes and the important role that the Institute for War Crimes will play in achieving this goal.
