She is the founder and executive director of the Caring Human Rights Center and serves as general editor of Smit & Herzog on the Law of the European Union, a leading reference work published by LexisNexis.
Her career also includes legal and institutional reform work in Kosova, where she advised the country’s Parliament.
Krasniqi holds an LLM from Pace University in New York and a master’s degree from the Universities of Bologna and Sarajevo.
She sits on the chapter’s executive board alongside President Marcia Brewster, a former senior UN official.
She has already been active in the role. During the UN General Assembly’s high-level week in September, she attended a side event on feminist leadership in multilateralism at Japan Society in Manhattan.
On October 8, she joined fellow chapter leaders at UN Headquarters for “The Age of Longevity,” a forum in the ECOSOC Chamber on how longer life expectancy is reshaping healthcare, work and public policy.
