Albanian actress Lyra Xhoci, who lives in Canada, is marking an important milestone in her international career by becoming part of a production streaming on Netflix.

She appears in the eight-episode drama series “Ripple” released on December 3, 2025. Xhoci plays the role of nurse Angela and is featured in six episodes, with her character playing a key role in the emotional development of the story.

The series is set in New York City and follows the lives of four main characters navigating complex relationships and personal struggles.

Xhoci is also known to Albanian audiences for her roles in “Kafeneja Jonë” and “Zyrja Për Gjithçka,” as well as her appearance in the film Tri Dritare dhe Një Varje, which represented Kosovo for the first time at the Academy Awards.
