Kosovar pianist Ardita Statovci will perform a solo recital on March 17 at La Maison Française, one of the prominent cultural venues in Washington, D.C., presenting a carefully selected program that combines international classical repertoire with music from Kosovo.

The recital, scheduled for 6:30 PM, will feature works by renowned composers such as Franz Schubert, Maurice Ravel, and Johannes Brahms, as well as Kosovar composer Fahri Beqiri. The program reflects a journey through different stylistic eras, highlighting both European classical tradition and Kosovo’s musical heritage.

In a statement, Statovci said she is looking forward to the concert and emphasized the importance of presenting diverse stylistic works. She noted that a special highlight of the evening will be the performance of “Allaturka,” a piano work by Fahri Beqiri.

The pianist explained that she has performed this piece in various countries over the years, and this time it will be presented to audiences in Washington D.C., bringing a significant work from Kosovo’s musical repertoire to the U.S. capital.
