A 10-year-old Albanian girl has achieved something extraordinary in Florida, USA, by publishing her very first book. Emili Shkulaku has amazed everyone with her talent, releasing “Night Stories”, which is now available on Amazon not only in the U.S. but also in Germany, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Italy, and many other countries.
Emili, whose father is from Albania and mother from Kosovo, has become the first student at her school, RiverCity Science Academy – one of the best charter schools in Florida – to publish a book.
Sharing her experience, she said:
“Just like many fathers who tell their children bedtime stories, our father used to tell us stories and fairy tales. That’s how I got the idea to start writing my own. After I finished them, I submitted the book to Amazon, and it was approved for publishing. I’m very happy.”
Her 300-page book features stories for readers between the ages of 8 and 16. Some of the titles include: “The Good Life”, “The Deer’s Antlers”, “The Doll’s Gaze”, “Evil Plans About the Universe”, “The Goat’s Floor”, “The Bag of Insects” and more.
Emili also expressed her wish to read Mitrush Kuteli’s “Ancient Albanian Tales” during her next visit to Albania, since she is originally from the city of Pogradec.
