Ukraine continues to call on Western powers for more weapons.
Earlier, the governor of the Donetsk region told the BBC that military equipment was “very important”.
As Ukrainian forces in the east of the country prepare for a “renewed” Russian attack, here is a brief look at some of the weapons that have already been sent to Ukraine:
• The Czech Republic last week reportedly became the first country to supply Ukraine with Soviet-designed tanks
Friday saw the first known case of a country sending Ukraine a large air defense system, thanks to a donation from neighboring Slovakia
• Last week, NATO responded to a call from the Ukrainian Foreign Minister for “weapons, weapons, weapons” by promising to send more weapons. But NATO troops will not be ordered to fight there
• After his trip to Kiev on Saturday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson pledged to send more weapons worth milionë 100 million ($ 130 million), including anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles.
• The United States recently said it had sent $ 1.7 billion in security aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the aggression, including thousands of missiles, 50 million rounds of ammunition and 45,000 rounds of ammunition and helmets.
Russia has warned other countries that their efforts to arm Ukraine are undermining their chances of ending the war.
