Poland’s military says it launched a joint military exercise on Saturday, involving 18,000 NATO troops.
The exercise will have regular exercises aimed at improving the security of the alliance’s eastern wing and comes at a time when Russia has begun invading Ukraine.
Due to these circumstances, the Polish army urged the public not to publish information or photos of military vehicles expected to move around the country in the coming weeks.
The notice warns that such decisions could undermine the security of the alliance.
“Let us be careful of the dangers,” the Polish military said in a statement.
Over 20 countries will take part in the joint exercise ‘Defender Europe 2022’.
The exercise is scheduled to continue from 1 to 27 May.
