The number of Ukrainians who have fled their country to Poland since the invasion of Russia has exceeded 4 million, according to the Polish border patrol agency.
The agency made the figure public Sunday through a Twitter post.
The latest figures show that 24,900 people arrived in Poland on Saturday 11 June.
However, it is impossible to say how many of those people have stayed in Poland and how many have traveled further to other Western European countries.
Polish President Mateusz Morawiecki recently said his country is hosting about 2 million Ukrainian refugees.
Polish authorities on Saturday also noted that 28,000 people were fleeing Poland, many of whom had returned to areas that had returned to Ukrainian control.
Ukraine had a population of more than 44 million citizens before the invasion.
Many of those who fled fled to Poland, which shares a 500-kilometer border with Ukraine.
