French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with his political opponents on Tuesday after his coalition failed to win a majority in parliamentary elections.
He is now under pressure to secure support from rivals to meet the government reform agenda, the BBC reports.
But neither Mary Le Pen of the far right nor Jean-Luc Melenchon of the Green Left alliance are willing to work with her.
Minority governments are rare in France, and Macron’s alliance has 44 seats away from the majority.
This means that he will have to find support from the main MPs from the far and right side of politics to help create the majority.
