Maltina Jashari Makes History as the First Albanian Female Formula Racer

Share

Maltina Jashari has made history as the first woman to represent Kosovo in national formula racing. She recently participated in the Formula Woman Nations Cup World Qualifiers, held on December 12, 2024, at the Dubai Autodrome.

During the qualifiers, Jashari recorded a fastest lap time of 1:14 in Qualifier Session. Her participation in this event underscores her dedication to breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated sport.

In addition to her racing career, Jashari is pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering at The University of Salford. She has also made history as Salford Racing Team’s first-ever female driver, preparing for the annual iMechE Formula Student event in 2025.
