Kosovo’s judo sensation, Distria Krasniqi, has captured the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in a stunning showdown. Despite a valiant effort, Krasniqi was edged out by Uzbekistan’s Diyora Keldiyorova.

This triumph secures Kosovo’s first medal at Paris 2024 and its fourth Olympic medal overall. Krasniqi also makes history as the only Kosovar athlete to earn both a gold and a silver Olympic medal.
