Fortnite raised $144 million over two weeks to help Ukraine

After just two weeks of campaigning, the Fortnite community has raised $ 144 million in aid to Ukraine, a country that is under constant attack by the Russian military.

After just two weeks, $ 144 million has been raised, and the aid campaign has been joined by Microsoft, which also wants to help – by offering support to Ukrainians.

Only after the first day of the campaign, Fortnite had collected 36 million dollars, and after the planned two-week campaign, this amount has increased to 144 million dollars.

All funds will be donated to various humanitarian groups including Direct Relief and the World Food Program.

The “gamer” community – namely the game developers who were actively involved in raising funds for aid in Ukraine.

Riot Games raised $ 5.4 million through its League of Legends game. In addition, Itch.io raised $ 6 million and Humble Bundle $ 20 million.
