“We will never forget your support.” This is what the mayor of Kiev said in a message broadcast at the manifestation that is being held in Tirana to show solidarity with Ukraine.

Vitali Klitschko stressed that he greatly appreciated this support from Albanian citizens.

“First of all, I want to thank you for sheltering refugees from Ukraine, especially our children. We greatly appreciate your political and international support. Your help is very important to us in these critical moments. We appreciate it very much and we will never forget who Ukraine’s true friends are! Our main priority is to stop this senseless war in Ukraine, to stop the killing of citizens. We greatly appreciate your help and many greetings from Kiev!” said Klitschko.

Today, Tirana joined the initiative of the largest capitals in the world, where since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, manifestations of solidarity with the Ukrainian people have been organized.

The march was attended by US Ambassador Yuri Kim and the Ambassador of Ukraine, Volodymyr Shkurov.
