Tirana to Welcome Iconic 50-Floor “Bond Tower”

Share

Tirana is set to introduce an iconic addition to its skyline with the construction of the 50-floor “Bond Tower.” This ambitious project, located at the intersection of Dritan Hoxha Street in the western development area of the city, aims to become a symbol of Albania’s capital.

The Bond Tower is designed to merge residential, commercial, office, and hotel spaces, reflecting the vibrant urban life of Tirana. The building’s façades will represent and transform the history and culture of society, presenting a new height in the city that symbolizes progress and urban transformation.

The tower’s parametric structure will incorporate traditional Albanian carpet patterns, creating a unique texture on its façade. This design approach intertwines history and culture, presenting a physical manifestation of Tirana’s evolving identity. Inspired by the grace of ballet, the tower’s two interlinked volumes with varying heights will meet in a pleat within the urban landscape, creating an elegant and iconic silhouette.

Public and green spaces around the building are designed to encourage community interaction and enrich local life. The landscaping strategy will mimic the natural gradation found in Albanian mountains, with resilient plants at higher levels reflecting high-altitude flora, and diverse plantings at lower levels echoing mountain valleys. This will offer a rich and varied experience with an array of textures and scents.
